Refund policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from Houseplants and Plant Essentials. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Return eligibility

Contact us before returning any item so we can confirm eligibility and provide instructions.
Items should be returned in the condition received, with original packaging where practical.
Approved returns include a free return label. We do not charge a restocking fee.
If an item arrived damaged or incorrect, we will also cover the return shipping cost.
In-store returns are not accepted for online orders.

Live plants

If a live plant arrives dead or severely damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@houseplantsandplantessentials.com with your order number and clear photos of the plant, its root system, and the packaging. You do not need to return the plant. You may dispose of it after taking the requested photos. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, at your choice.

Minor leaf drop, slight wilting, or loose soil are common transit effects and do not qualify as a dead-on-arrival claim.

Refunds

After an eligible return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the result. For an approved live-plant dead-on-arrival claim that does not require a return, we will process the replacement or refund after reviewing the requested photos. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund.

Non-returnable situations

We may decline a return if the item is materially damaged through misuse, is returned without prior contact, or falls outside the 30-day return window. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
